Nduvho Ramulongo is passionate about education development and research in South Africa. She is a PhD candidate and researcher at the Centre for Researching Education and Labour (REAL Centre) on the Skills for an Industry project, funded by the National Swiss Science Foundation. Her PhD research project evaluates the contribution of Vocational Skills development initiatives to transformation and inclusive industrial growth in the South African clothing and textile industry. This study forms part of a broader international research project that considers the role of skills development in industrial development in six developing countries. Nduvho serves as Professor Stephanie Allais’s teaching assistant on a Masters of Education course titled Education, Skills and Development. She also worked at the Zenex Foundation as a Knowledge Management and Intern, Project (Research and Information) Assistant. She holds an Honours degree in Political Studies and a Master of Education from the University of the Witwatersrand. Her research interest includes the relationship between education and development, the development of the post-schooling sector in South Africa, managing educational change, privatization of education and evaluation research methods.
